EncouragementThe Process of healing and recovery continues well beyond the acute care stage for individuals with acquired brain injuries.  When physical, cognitive, social and behavioral skills are affected, individuals need a program of brain injury rehabilitation that can address a full range of needs. 

The Acadiana Brain Injury Center staff is an experienced interdisciplinary team that develops the most appropriate treatment setting to create a supportive environment

Our staff works side by side with our participants to achieve success by increasing functional abilities and living skills. 

Cost effective outcomes are achieved by accomplishing measurable goals.

Our Goals are to:

  • Provide a comprehensive rehabilitation program

  • Formulate, revise, and implement individual treatment plans
     

  • Promote independence in activities of daily living

  • Increase functional activities

  • Enhance self-esteem through accomplishments
     

  • Develop an effective support system for each individual served

  • Improve quality of life.


Our mission is to provide a safe, structured environment to meet the functional rehabilitation of adults with Acquired Brain Injury that is economical and cost effective, without regard to national origin, race, color, sex, age, disability, religion, or political belief.  Above all else, the Day Program and Residential Living Programs are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care with compassion and respect for each person served in order to enhance quality of life.
